I decided to watch the movie ‘Heathers’ and oh gods this is fucking with my head.
Earlier I was eating breakfast and I saw a dark, shadowy form walk into my utility room. I was the only one up, and it was too tall to be a cat. And when I went in there, there was no-one there, not even cats.

Confession Time:
#1: When I was NaNoWriMo-ing and did nothing but write for a month solid….it has caused me to forget what the hell I’m actually supposed to do with my time. I forgot what I did to just…get by. I forgot my mission to convert the buying population of Norfolk to purchasing locally sourced, handmade goods.
#2: Someone just bought me an Elle magazine. If I was to have a ‘guilty’...

I think I had the weirdest dream I have ever had last night.
Britain outlawed homosexuality, and I somehow ended up working for this organisation that helped gay people emigrate to Iceland. I helped so many people escape, from being killed, I think the punishment was. There were loads of details in the dream, I met loads of great people, but there were so many near misses with the law. In the end...

Doc Martins boots are £100? I thought they were about…£60.
There is absolutly no way I can afford them. I think this just ruined my week/month/year/life.

I will,
Keep my mouth shut,
Find solace in the sadness I keep on the shelf,
It has a voice,
Well-spoken, austere and soft,
Filling up the nothingness,
The only thing that makes a difference.

- Spare Some Time For The Ones You Love -
~ Alex Milligan ~
For there is a little part of me with your right now, where our worlds collide.
I will watch that video that almost looks like you and imagine a perfect winter in that distant dream, in a little cottage on the Irish Coast.
Because one day I might know what this all means.

I’m not really sure, I’m not good at reading people, but I think I’m quite possibly the most festive person I know. Everyone else seems so…not bothered. I’m bouncing around putting up greenery and putting big logs on the fire and leaving the doors open and making food for tomorrow already when all anyone else is doing is watching The Food Network and sleeping in the bath.
I just want to...

I definitely havn’t slept enough. My mum found this leaflet that said tescos was open all night last night, so after working since nine, delivering all my coisin’s presents, having tea and a mince pie at every house we visited it was somehow one in the moringing and we were all like YEAH LETS GO TO TESCOS AND BUY ALL THE FOOD FOR CHRISTMAS!!!
But it was closed.
It opened again at...

I went rambling into the midwinter sunset. I’m speechless now; it was so beautiful. I walked along the road that looks out over the valley then down into the woods. I watched rooks flock to roost and the sky turn amber between the wintry silhouettes of trees. It sounds so simple, but every aspect was so beautiful.

My family have decided that for christmas dinner we will each make a course, and it has to be itallian-themed.
I have the brilliant idea of making Jonsi & Alex’s ‘Macadamia Monster Mash’ and stuffing little tomatoes and peppers with it for the starter. I’d like to make some bread too and olives are a must-have.
Happy Midwinter Solstice Everybody!
Except, right here, it doesn’t feel very wintery at all, the sun is shining and I went outside to get logs and ended up not lighting a fire becasue its just so nice and mild and sunny out there.
I want to do something fabulous and beautiful, I just don’t know what.
I might ask my mum to drive us all to the forest and we can walk through the trees and sing and jump in leaves and take...
